Just imagine sitting in a beach chair outside your suite, sipping champagne, and all you can see is a white sand beach and a turquoise green ocean, with your partner beside you, not another human being in sight, now that at least has the potential for a romantic getaway package!!

In describing the resort, one can’t say much more than the grounds the pool and the beach outside the hotel are superbly well maintained, in fact immaculate wouldn’t be too strong a word.

The staff have obviously been well trained, and they really go the extra mile to make sure you have everything you need. Sometimes when you stay in out of the way places you can feel a bit uneasy, but that is definitely not the case here, where you will always feel safe and comfortable.

It would be fair to say that there isn’t much to do, but a getaway which is what we are talking about here, implies that you do very little, except unwind and recharge your batteries, and that is exactly what Eagle Palms does for you. What we are talking about here is no nightlife and no televisions to disturb your reverie, but you were looking for a romantic getaway package so these two things would be inappropriate anyway!!

Eating is an important part of any vacation, and you won’t be disappointed with either the quality or the quantity of the food at Emerald Palms. The chef willingly accommodates any food foibles, and it can be fun to get the hotel to organise a meal out at Hyleans, where you can choose your menus, which could mean fresh lobster and red snapper.

Car hire, or scooter hire will enable you to explore the island and perhaps try some local food at other places that would otherwise be inaccessible.

To summarise the Emerald Palms may not be luxurious, but it is quaint, on the beach, and a real hideaway, so very suitable for a romantic getaway package because there is very little to do except enjoy the place, the island, and each other, so it would also be a good choice for a Caribbean Honeymoon that wouldn’t wreck the budget, although look out for high food and drink costs.
