It was once the site of the exclusive Potlatch Club, Pineapple Fields sits on 80 acres, and is just a few minutes from the town of Governor’s Harbour, which is where your flight in will land.  It has around 300 yards of beach front on a two mile long crescent shaped beach of beautiful white sand.

Like almost all Condo Hotels the accommodations have individual flair, but what you will want and need in the way of kitchen equipment, comfortable beds, and other essentials you will have and good quality too, down to big screen televisions, and a washer and dryer, with the daily bonus of maid service. If you don’t want to cook then Tippy’s is literally just across the street, but be aware they only do lunch and dinner and are closed on a Monday. In addition at the Pineapple Fields office there is a deli which sells gourmet food, wine, and superb croissants.On a Friday there is a public fish fry at Anchor Bay  in Governors Harbour

Life on Eleuthera is slow, peaceful, and relaxing, and it is more than likely you will spend your Bahamas holiday time, either relaxing around thebeautiful and large  pool, which won’t exactly be crowded, or on the beach where you can rent beach chairs and an umbrella.

You will want to hire a car, to allow you to explore Eleuthera Island, it would be such a pity to come to one of the Outer Islands and not visit all the amazing beaches.
