Nassau
Best described as small, being on a site of less than two acres it is a quite superb oceanfront retreat, and extremely attractive into the bargain.
The multicoloured cottages are somewhat rustic, having wooden floors, but extremely well equipped, with cable televisions, DVD players, mini fridge, wireless internet for those who have to be in touch with the office whilst on vacation. Little touches like coffee maker, ironing board, and hair dryer all add to the modern facilities if the rooms themselves are quite rustic
The rooms are large, air conditioned, and very comfortable, and unlike some other places none face the car park, or have a view of the air conditioning units, as all face the beautiful azure sea.
The best thing about Compass point as a Nassau Bahamas Vacation Spot is the tranquillity, and this is hard to believe being so close to
If your experience of New Providence and
The staff at Compass Point are genuinely friendly and very accommodating, without ever being intrusive, and this isn’t always the case in a Bahamas Vacation Package Hotel.
Food which is another way of measuring any vacation is generally very good, and the restaurant has a lovely setting. It’s significant that a number of expats choose Compass Point’s restaurant when they want to go out for a meal.
There is some entertainment at the weekends, but it really has a lot of local flavour to it, and it makes for a pleasant change, from the totally laid back, peaceful, read a good book, or several for that matter, atmosphere that the management team have worked hard to create.
The type of people who will choose Compass Point for their Nassau Bahamas vacation are those who are looking for a really personal experience, which is close to what the Caribbean of their dreams is, and not some large chain monstrosity of a Nassau Hotel, where you could be anywhere in the world.
If that sounds like you, then Compass Point would be ideal.
