A Bahamas resort called the Palm Bay Beach Club  on Great Exuma  has a reputation of being a tranquil escape which is well off the beaten track. It consists of 40 beautifully appointed typical Bahama style cottages. The beach here is secluded and almost deserted, and you can dive on a coral reef or fish to your heart’s content. The Beach Club has heated pools, a beach bar, and grill, and yet it doesn’t look much when you see it first from the road, which proves you should never judge a book by its cover, because what you will find is a charming place with very clean rooms, very friendly staff, and lovely views of the bay.

 

The rooms have a large enclosed patio with a table and four chairs. The floors throughout the rooms are tiled, and there is a large living area with satellite TV. There are fans, and you will probably not need air conditioning due to the breezes.
