Although it is strictly a bed and breakfast inn, it is also a reminder of the history of the Bahamas.

It dates back to the turn of the eighteenth century having been built by Harbour Island’s first Justice of the Peace, and the classic pink sided clapboard house is a reminder of the early importance of Dunmore Town in the history of the Bahamas.

There are seven rooms, mostly accessed by the old fashioned verandas that run right round the upper and lower levels, and the whole appearance and feel is historical, and yet the rooms are not a bad size, very comfortable, and well maintained with great tiled bathrooms. The four poster beds are just one of the very nice touches, as is the comfy sofa and the Queen Anne style writing desks just adds to the feeling that you are living in a piece of history
