It is just a small hotel with 183 rooms and suites, right in the centre of the action in Port Lucaya on Grand Bahama just yards from restaurants, bars, and entertainment that have flourished in Port Lucaya in the past few years.

The Pelican Bay Resort is a great place for a Bahamas Vacation if your tastes are expensive, but your finances are limited, kind of champagne tastes and a beer budget if you like. This doesn’t mean that the hotel is cheap, but it is a more inexpensive alternative, and it has luxury bedrooms and accommodations from standard garden view to luxury suite at prices the average family can afford.

Architecturally it is a mix of Caribbean island and classic Dutch, built on a peninsula which juts out into a veritable labyrinth of inland waterways, with yachts moored apparently all around the hotel.
